Bitcoin Rebounds Above $82K on China GDP Beat
Bitcoin reclaimed the $82,500 level Monday, rising about 2% to $82,678 (Dow Jones Newswires) after dipping below $80,000 last week. Three tailwinds are behind the bounce: China's Q3 GDP beat (4.5% vs 4.4% forecast), falling Treasury yields, and easing oil prices.
Ether traded near $2,423, Solana around $105 and XRP near $1.30, while the Fear & Greed index recovered back to neutral.
One caution flag: US spot bitcoin and ether ETFs still bled $549 million last week, and the Fed is in blackout ahead of its October 27–28 meeting — markets price just a 12% chance of a hike.
